Considerate Constructors community work

Here Curve Workplaces we are passionate about respecting the community, caring for the environment, and valuing the workforce no matter the size, type, or location of our projects 🏗️

As members of The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and as part of our commitment to the Considerate Constructors Scheme we regularly make positive changes to the way we work, ensuring we operate responsibly and build trust with the public.

Last week our team continued to practice these codes at the One Station Hill site by volunteering their time at the New Beginnings Charitable Trust (NCT) Queens Arms pub in Great Knollys Street. This pub is now used for a number of services, which include the community fridge for distributing free food for those who need it and the All Day Café, a place that everyone is welcome for a cup of tea and a friendly chat ☕️

Whilst there we helped replace ceiling tiles, kindly donated by Nick Heasman of Level Best Solutions Ltd. These tiles were positioned in the store room of the homeless shelter which is an area donations are prepared and stored for use.

What a better way to end our day, and mental health awareness week by the team litter picking around the construction site. Public Health England recommend picking litter is a great way to boost both physical and mental health, as well as giving back to your community 🫶🏻
