New project for CIOB
We are delighted to share that the The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) have chosen us to collaborate with them on the design and build of their new office at 3 Arlington Square, Downshire Way, Bracknell, RG12 1WA.The focus of our Cat B work is fitting out part of the ground floor, including the reuse and installation of new partitions, decorations, flooring, doors, electrical and lighting alterations, along with mechanical refurbishments.Samantha Teague, Director of Governance at the CIOB said: “We are delighted to work with one of our own Chartered Building Company’s on the design and build of our new office in Bracknell. By upcycling furniture and reusing part of the current design the plan is to minimise our impact on the environment and yet still achieve an adaptable, collaborative working space.”“It is a real feather in our cap to be asked to partner with our professional association to fit out their new office.” Said Tim Sheen MCIOB, Operations Director for Curve Workplaces.“At the heart of their brief was to focus on the principles and terrific benefits of the circular economy, and our Senior Lead Designer Deborah Leach has produced a wonderful sustainable design solution which prioritises reusing materials and adding to existing furnishings.” He added. Many thanks to those involved – Graham M. at Quartz Project Services, Joint Letting Agents, Guy Parkes and Andrew Baillie at Vail Williams and Richard Zoers and Andy Tucker at Hanover Green LLP and all the team at Furniture Forum.
