As Azego continued to grow it became apparent that they were running out of space at their previous home in Theale Lakes. An industrial unit at Unit 7, Theale Commercial Estate was identified as providing the flexibility for their growth plans.
The detailed brief stressed the need for an innovative but practical working environment for the distributors of electronic components, and there were several design reiterations before the final design was agreed. A new mezzanine floor was installed giving Azego additional space. The 10-week project resulted in ground floor warehouse space with lab areas and a client-facing meeting suite along with first floor back-of-house working areas and a “town-hall” style breakout. Crittal style glazing, feature London White Brick walls, graphic vinyl and hexagonal acoustic panels all combined to give a cutting-edge design. The design has improved communication and socialising between the teams and given Azego future expansion space.
