Winnersh
Sq ft
14,000

Hollister Incorporated had outgrown their previous office in Wokingham and decided to move to a new 14,000 sq. ft space in 1010 Winnersh Triangle which was better suited to them and represented the company and industry who develop, manufacture, and market healthcare products and services worldwide.

Project Summary

By working closely with Hollister’s’ HR Manager, Tom Horkan and Regional Vice President, Emily Vestal, Curve was able to understand the business needs and create an environment that worked for them functionally and aesthetically as well as legislatively due to holding confidential patient information. This resulted in a design that had a light, professional and collaborative feel across the whole environment, whilst reflecting Hollister’s brand.

Curves design answered a number of Hollisters key objectives for the space by creating a large communal kitchen as the heart of the space and a adaptable multi-functional meeting room suite with electronic room booking system which can adapt to a number of different meeting needs from formal boardroom, training functions, to all hands town hall meetings.  It was also important to work around the building existing M&E systems including a Chilled beam system to ensure acoustic quality could be achieved when subdividing the space.

“We were guided through the process from beginning to end by Curve. They took the time to build relationships and the outcome is brilliant. The UK office is now the office to be in. Curve nailed the brief and they’ve completely over delivered!” Tom Horkan, Senior HR Director - Hollister
